TRADITION. PASSION. HAMBURG.
Since 1990, the Crocodiles Hamburg have stood for exciting ice hockey in the Hanseatic city. As one of northern Germany's most traditional ice hockey clubs, they inspire thousands of fans season after season with fast-paced action, team spirit, and true Hamburg passion on the ice.
PARENT CLUB
The Farmsener Turnverein von 1926 e.V. (FTV) is the parent club of the Crocodiles Hamburg. The club's ice hockey department was founded in 1990 as FTV Crocodiles and became the direct successor to the 1. EHC Hamburg. To this day, Farmsener TV remains the sporting and organizational home of the Crocodiles.
Even during the years when the first team's operations were managed by a separate limited company, the FTV remained the official licence holder and parent club. Following the insolvency of the operating company in 2023, the Crocodiles returned fully under the umbrella of Farmsener TV and have since focused on rebuilding the club with a strong emphasis on youth development.
