CROCODILES WIN PRESEASON TEST IN DRESDEN

The Crocodiles Hamburg successfully completed their second preseason test. Head Coach Christopher Scholz’s team delivered a convincing performance against ESC Dresden, securing a 6–0 victory.

The Crocodiles came out strong right from the opening period, playing with plenty of confidence and efficiency. With a focused performance and sustained offensive pressure, Hamburg built a comfortable 5–0 lead.

In the second period, however, the game lost some of its flow. Several penalties on both sides disrupted the rhythm, and the Crocodiles were unable to maintain the same level of performance they had shown in the opening period. At times, the team adapted too much to the opponent’s style of play instead of consistently sticking to their own game. The second period remained scoreless.

In the final period, the Crocodiles found their rhythm again and played with greater focus. One more goal eventually sealed the 6–0 final score. Although not everything went perfectly, the team once again gained valuable experience and important game time.

For Head Coach Christopher Scholz, the 60 minutes in Dresden were above all another good opportunity to gather impressions and identify the details that still need to be worked on over the coming days.

There is not much time left to do so, as the final preseason weekend is already approaching. On Friday, the Crocodiles will head to the coast to face the Beach Devils before returning to the Eisland on Saturday for their final dress rehearsal and the conclusion of the preseason.

Two more games to fine-tune the final details and make sure the team is as well prepared as possible for the start of the season.
