A Weekend Without Points – But With Incredible Support!

Our Crocodiles Hamburg have come through a challenging weekend, suffering two defeats.

On Friday evening, the OSWENO Cup clash against FASS Berlin was on the schedule. In an exciting and hard-fought contest, both teams battled on equal terms. Our Crocodiles took a 2-1 lead thanks to goals from Bruns and Rakell. However, with just 4.6 seconds remaining in regulation time, FASS Berlin managed to equalize and make it 2-2.

In the ensuing overtime, the visitors had the better fortune and scored the decisive goal to secure a 3-2 victory (OT). A bitter defeat by the narrowest of margins!

There was little time to catch our breath, however. On Saturday, the team was already back on the road for the long away trip to face the Schönheider Wölfe.

In front of 582 spectators, our Crocodiles ultimately suffered a 6-2 defeat. After trailing 3-1 at the first intermission, our boys initially struggled to close the gap. In the final period, Ivan Savchenko briefly reignited hope with his goal to make it 4-2, but Schönheide responded immediately and sealed their home victory shortly afterward.

But a very special thank you goes out to our fans!

Nearly 20 supporters from Hamburg made the long journey to Schönheide to cheer on our team and provide incredible support, even far away from home.

No matter how far the journey or what the final score may be – you're always there, standing firmly behind our team!

That's unity, that's passion, and that's what the Crocodiles are all about!

Now it's time to dust ourselves off, analyze both games, and turn our focus to the challenges ahead.
