Get well soon, Kai!
We had originally been looking forward to introducing a very special addition to the team today: Kai Kristian is returning!
Together with Riku Lindroos, Kai was set to form a strong goaltending duo for the upcoming season and play an important role in our team.
That makes the news we have to share with you today all the more difficult: Kai suffered an injury during summer training camp. Unfortunately, the injury is serious enough that he will not be able to take to the ice for us in the upcoming season.
This news hits us hard – especially for Kai personally. We were really looking forward to his return, his experience, and his quality between the pipes, and we would have loved to see him back on the ice wearing our jersey.
But right now, there is only one thing that matters: Kai’s full recovery.
Dear Kai, we wish you all the strength and patience you need and hope for a speedy and complete recovery. Take all the time you need – we are behind you and hope to see you healthy and back on the ice soon.
Keep your head up, Kai! The Crocodiles family is behind you.
