Kevin Grasmik remains closely connected to the Crocodiles Hamburg. Born in 2004, the defenseman took his first steps on the ice with the Crocodiles, where he began his hockey development before moving to the youth academy of the Kölner Haie (Cologne Sharks).

There, the left-shot defenseman continued his development in the DNL, while also gaining valuable experience with Germany's U18 National Team and the Füchse Duisburg in the Oberliga.
