MIGUEL BOOCK

Miguel Boock is far more than just a familiar name in Hamburg sports. A Hamburg native, he has been one of the city's best-known athletes for many years, leaving his mark in both ice hockey and American football.

Miguel began his ice hockey career with the Crocodiles Hamburg at a young age. From the outset, he earned a reputation as a hard-nosed defenseman known for his determination, physical style of play, and leadership qualities. He spent many years wearing the Crocodiles jersey and remained closely connected to Hamburg hockey through spells with the Hamburg Sailors and the Crocodiles' second team.

At the same time, Boock built an outstanding career in American football. Having started with the Hamburg Huskies as a youngster, he developed into one of Germany's most respected linebackers. His career took him to the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes and the Elmshorn Fighting Pirates before he joined the Hamburg Sea Devils in the European League of Football (ELF).

With the Sea Devils, Boock established himself as one of the league's premier defensive players. He was named to the ELF All-Star Team in 2021 and helped lead the Sea Devils to the ELF Championship Game on two occasions.

Following his retirement from American football, Boock remained with the Hamburg Sea Devils, later taking on the role of Sporting Director, allowing him to continue contributing to Hamburg's sporting community off the field.

At the Crocodiles Hamburg, Miguel Boock also remains a defining figure—a player whose mentality, versatility, and unwavering commitment have left a lasting impression on the club over many years.
