Kalle Hällfors

Kalle Hällfors joins the Crocodiles Hamburg.

The Crocodiles Hamburg can announce another new signing for the upcoming season. Kalle Hällfors is moving to Hamburg and will strengthen the Crocodiles’ defense going forward.

The 25-year-old Finn is from Tampere, came through the youth system at Ilves, and gained his first experience at senior level with Koovee. There, the 1.93-meter-tall left-shot defenseman established himself over several seasons in the Finnish Mestis, the country’s second-highest league.

Hällfors had a particularly strong season in 2024/25 with Pyry Hockey. In 36 regular-season games in the Suomi-sarja, the defenseman recorded an impressive 44 points — 10 goals and 34 assists. This highlighted both his offensive ability and his skills in building up play. He subsequently returned to the Mestis with Pyry, gaining further experience at a high level of Finnish hockey.

With his size, left-handed shot, and experience in Finnish ice hockey, Hällfors brings an interesting overall package to Hamburg. With the Crocodiles, he is expected to provide additional stability in defense while also contributing his offensive qualities.

Welcome to Hamburg, Kalle! We’re looking forward to seeing you and your first games in the Crocodiles jersey!
