New Defenseman for the Crocodiles!

The Crocodiles Hamburg are pleased to announce another new signing for the upcoming season.

Martin Hrbek is moving to Hamburg and will strengthen our defense!

The 22-year-old Czech was born on February 14, 2004, in Jihlava and developed through the youth system of HC Dukla Jihlava, among others. He later played in the Czech junior league for Mountfield HK U20 and also gained his first experience at senior level with HC Wikov Hronov and HC Slovan Ústí nad Labem.

The 181 cm right-shot defenseman gained his first experience in German ice hockey with the TuS Harsefeld Tigers. There, he developed into an offensively productive defenseman in the Regionalliga Nord. During the 2025/26 season, he recorded 9 goals and 17 assists in 24 games.

Now, Martin is ready to take the next step in his career with the Crocodiles Hamburg.
